Czech Republic’s Quote for America

post sent by Glynn

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

The danger to America is not the puppet but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.  It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an the puppet presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than the puppet, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a the puppet, who is, after all, merely a fool.  It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

Never to Stand Behind

post by Dr. David Barton

[Even if Dr. Barton didn’t write this, I totally agree with it. I, too, respect the Office of the United States President but I don’t recognize the puppet as my president. And…one thing…I don’t see a full one-term. I see a full United States Impeachment.]

The following email circulating around follows this NOTE—TruthorFiction—A spokes person for David Barton told TruthorFiction.com that he was a guest on the In Touch program but the interview circulating on the Internet was a fabrication. According to his bio, “David Barton is the Founder and President of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage.” Barton appeared on the Christian television program In Touch with Charles Stanley which can be viewed on the In Touch web site—Click to view program.

Dr. David Barton is more of a historian than a Biblical speaker, but very famous for his knowledge of historical facts as well as Biblical truths.

  • Respect the Office? Yes.
  • Respect the man in the Office? No, I am sorry to say. I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind the puppet. Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I am not uniting behind the puppet!
  • I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, but that is it. I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term puppet!

Why am I doing this ?

It is because—

  • I do not share the puppet’s vision or value system for America
  • I do not share his abortion beliefs
  • I do not share his radical Marxist‘s concept of re-distributing wealth
  • I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August)
  • I do not share his view that America is arrogant
  • I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation
  • I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%
  • I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American Citizens who need help
  • I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage
  • I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land
  • I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public)
  • I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the health care system in America
  • I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East
  • I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran

Bottom line—my America is vastly different from the puppet’s, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my GOD† to do what is Right! For eight (8) years, the liberals in our society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!

  • They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our county!
  • They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
  • They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years!
  • They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!
  • They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD† or Jesus Christ† from our society!
  • They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code!
  • They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all freedoms, the right of free speech!

Unite behind the puppet? Never! I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!

President Bush made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers! Majority rules in America , and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to the puppet and his goals for America. I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country! Any more compromise is more defeat! I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD† crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America!

U.S. Debt Issuance Vastly Greater Than Deficit Spending

post by Tyler Durden

Lately we have gotten notification from both the CBO and independent economists that America’s fiscal lack of responsibility will saddle the country with trillions in future deficits, roughly around $10 trillion in 10 years. Yet this is only half the story. Contrary to expectations that every dollar in deficit spending is funded with a dollar of debt, historical data indicates that actual debt-funded spending vastly exceeds monthly deficits. In fact, since the beginning of Fiscal 2007 (October 2006), the total cumulative deficit is $3 trillion. It may come as a surprise to some that over the same period, total U.S. debt has increased not by $3 trillion (which would make intuitive sense), but nearly 50% more, by $4.4 trillion, meaning that the U.S. Treasury has accumulated approximately $34 billion of debt in excess of any given month’s average deficit. This means that should this trend persist, the $10 trillion in deficits over the next 10 years, will translate into roughly $15 trillion in new debt. Adding this amount to today’s existing total debt of $12.9 trillion means that by 2020, the U.S. will be saddled with $28 trillion in debt, or roughly double today’s GDP. As this is a 9% CAGR, it means that GDP will need to increase by about 7% annually just to stay at about 100% debt/GDP in 2020—a ludicrous assumption. A more realistic one, in which U.S. GDP increases by 2.5% each year, leads to a 2020 Debt-To-GDP ratio of 151%. Welcome to the new normal.

The chart below demonstrates the difference between cumulative deficits over the past 43 monthly periods, superimposed on the total debt issuance over the same period. As is plainly evident, the two lines diverge rather rapidly.

Presenting the same data on a non-cumulative monthly basis demonstrates that out of the 43 periods, debt issuance has been greater than any given period's deficit on 25 occasions. As noted previously, the total cumulative divergence between the two data series amounts to just over $1.4 trillion during this period.

A simple exercise in divergent statistics indicates that total debt has surpassed total deficits by 48.2% over this period. In other words, assuming the latest CBO figure of a $10 trillion deficit over the next 10 years is correct, we will likely see $14.82 trillion in new debt issued, thus bringing the 2020 debt to a grand total of $27.7 trillion (when added to today’s total of $12.9 trillion, which means a Compounded Annual Growth Rate in the U.S. debt of 8.9% for the next 10 years.

So, with everyone recently transfixed by such fractions as Debt/GDP ratios, we decided to project what the U.S. debt-to-GDP ratio would look like, assuming two scenarios for U.S. growth—a baseline 2% annual GDP growth until 2020, and an upside 2.5% growth rate. The results are not pleasant.

In the base case, we see U.S. Debt/GDP hitting 159% by 2020. In the upside case, this number is a much more "bearable" 154%. Surely these numbers merit a AAA rating by the rating agencies.

Of course, none of these numbers assume that the $6.3 trillion in GSE debt will be onboarded, as the government will never recognize just how bad its off-balance sheet picture truly is. If GSE debt were to be added to the total debt tally (kept constant through 2020), total Debt/GDP would be 186% in the base case, and 195% in the upside case . Should we add the roughly $80 trillion in other unfunded liabilities such as SSN and Medicare…well, you get the picture. And here we are worried about what European contagion could look like a few years down the line.

Executive Branch Refuses Arizona Safety

post by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer

In my meeting with the puppet yesterday (Jun3), I personally invited him to visit Arizona and see our open borders for himself. Only then might he understand that border security is the mandatory first step in any real effort to battle illegal immigration. Unfortunately, the puppet declined to commit to a personal visit. [Of, course he did.] He also declined my request to increase the National Guard commitment, did not commit to build and extend the fence, and refused to pay the federal obligations for incarceration expenses—over $750 million just since 2003.

[That is because he’s in bed with all these third world countries. My comments seem raging but it’s just to obvious to me that this man has another agenda that’s not in the best interest, at all, with the American People. Read my latest work titled To Retake and you’ll see what I mean.]

While the meeting was cordial and respectful, and I appreciate the opportunity to share the deep concerns of our citizens, a continued lack of action is devastating to Arizona. Washington’s continued reluctance to secure our border—with no political strings attached—only suggests the possibility of further violence, failures and delay. No more political two-steps! Now is the time to simply and honestly secure our international border.

[No political strings attached—I’m sorry, it’s all political strings. Let’s face it. The Mexican president was allowed to address Congress over Brewer’s laws. A foreign country coming into the United States of America and complaining about one of our State’s laws. Sorry, that’s all political strings and opens up a big can of worms. This is so see-through it’s ridiculous and if the American People can’t see this than we must deserve to have a dictator as a leader. He’s showing you, point-blank, that he’s not an American and he won’t help fight his people and his friends. Impeachment anyone?)

It is my hope that the president has a change of heart and takes the time to personally meet in Arizona with our hard-working border enforcement agents, local law enforcement, border-region ranchers, and others who are confronted daily with Arizona’s border crisis and see for himself their problems and their justifiable fears. Until operational control of the border by the federal government is achieved, Arizonans and indeed our nation remain at risk.

[Arizona—forget the federal government. At the moment it has been breached. Take matters in your own hands. You declared your Tenth Amendment rights—use them. You must have willing citizens willing to be deputized. You’re having trouble finding prisons? Build fenced ones, give them some boxes for shelter. Hell, these Mexicans people are killing their own and ours. Do you think we need to justify mercy? This man is pulling apart this country piece by piece and until the federal government is recaptured, you should worry about your own State and forget about the traitor that sits in the White House.)

Following our meeting today, I’m encouraged that there may be a new and more open willingness for direct dialogue between the federal government and Arizona.  However, as I have said before, illegal immigration will not be solved by the promises that have been made, but rather, by the tangible results on the ground. The puppet should see for himself how a lack of enforcement has turned Arizona into the superhighway of illegal drug and human smuggling activity.  My invitation to come to Arizona remains open.

[Jan, he knows this. As I said before, he has an agenda and it doesn’t include the safety of the American People. If you think he cared, do you think he would have gone overseas at the beginning of 2009 and continued to criticized our beloved country? Don’t count on decisions to change. If he comes, it’s for the cameras only!]

Puppet Doesn’t Have a Clue

post by Dick Morris

Conservatives are so enraged at the puppet’s socialism and radicalism that they are increasingly surprised to learn that he is incompetent as well. The sight of his blithering and blustering while the most massive oil spill in history moves closer to America’s beaches not only reminds one of Bush’s terrible performance during Katrina, but calls to mind Jimmy Carter’s incompetence in the face of the hostage crisis.

[In the matters of government, history teaches, correct me if I’m wrong, that we have a balance and the federal government does not step in to State affairs (usually) unless the States asks for help! I was here during Katrina and the mayor of New Orleans and our, then, incompetent governor dropped the ball. Yes, the federal government was slow…really slow. But, did you see all those buses under water? It was on the news! Why were they under water? It was the mayor and the governor’s responsiblity—not Bush’s to use those buses to get all those people out (if they liked it or not). Before I was born, there was a hurricane that hit Morgan City that was really bad, my Dad and Mom were here. It was really bad…sucked out all the water from the river. A slow-moving train made its way through the town…never stopped and everyone who couldn’t afford to drive out were thrown on the train…like it or not! No one died! Great Mayor! Buses under water…Poor mayor. Do you see what I’m talking about. It wasn’t Bush who dropped the ball! By the way…Bush paid respectable visits to New Orleans…shaking hands with the People! The puppet…in Grand Isle…shut the place down for his less-than-an-hour visits and shook no one’s hand! Americans do it different!]

America is watching the puppet alternate between wringing his hands in helplessness and pointing his finger in blame [Because he’s a coward.] when he should be solving the most pressing environmental problem America has faced in the past 50 years. We are watching generations of environmental protection swept away as marshes, fisheries, vacation spots, recreational beaches, wetlands, hatcheries and sanctuaries fall prey to the oil spill invasion. And, all the while, the president acts like a spectator, interrupting his basketball games only to excoriate BP for its failure to contain the spill.

[Do you still believe he’s an American citizen? Do you still believe he cares about America? Come on, South Louisiana is deeply Catholic. I have a video on here showing you that the puppet dislikes Catholics. Do you still believe that all this oil mess was an accident? Millions and millions of oil poured out of that hole, where is it going? Lake Ponchatrain in New Orleans was shut down for years and years because of chemical spills, this is far worst…how long do you think the Gulf will be shut down? You can now refer to the Gulf as the Dead Gulf. It’s gone. Those chemicals that BP put in our waters sunk the oil instead of keeping it afloat for a better cleanup. Now it rest at the bottom killing everything….everything that lives there! Do you hear me!…killing everything! There is no more Gulf of Mexico….that offers seafood, pleasure. The jokes on us! The South! The ones who still believe in the Lord†! Update: As of Oct. 26, 2010, we have shrimp coming out of our ears and they taste great! Take that puppet and shove it!]

Is the BP Oil Spill the puppet’s Katrina? The political fallout from the oil spill will, indeed, spill across party and ideological lines. The environmentalists of America cannot take heart from a puppet so obviously ignorant about how to protect our shores and so obstinately arrogant that he refuses to inform himself and take any responsibility. All of this explains why the oil spill is seeping into his ratings among Democrats, dragging him down to levels we have not seen since Bush during the pit of the Iraq war. Conservatives may dislike the puppet because he is a leftist, but liberals are coming to dislike him because he is not acompetent progressive.

[What is all this talk about ratings…come on, this is our eco-system! Our very world! How can anyone being playing politics at a time like this? The whole, entire world should be trying to fix this instead of it being a competition.]

Meanwhile, the nation watches nervously as the same policies the puppet has brought to our nation are failing badly and publicly in Europe. [And who’s the blame for this?] When Moody’s announces that it is considering downgrading bonds issued by the government of the United States of America, we find ourselves, suddenly, in deep trouble. We have had deficits before. But never have they so freaked investors that a ratings agency considered lowering its opinion of our solvency. [Financial institutions dictating America’s independence! Who runs who?] Not since Alexander Hamilton assumed the States’ Revolutionary War debt has America’s willingness and ability to meet its financial obligations been as seriously questioned. And the truth begins to dawn on all of us—the puppet has no more idea how to work his way out of the economic mess into which his policies have plunged us than he does about how to clean up the oil spill that is destroying our Southern coastline.

[Why doesn’t someone finally question his real motives? His real nationality? Why doesn’t someone question why he and his wife aren’t allowed to practice law anymore? When you find your answers, you’ll find out why he has no idea. It may be that he does know exactly what he’s doing, it’s the American People who’s the fool.]

Both the financial crisis and the oil come ever closer to our shores—one from the east and the other from the South—and, between them, they loom as a testament to the incompetence of our government and of its puppet. And, oddly, to his passivity as well. After pursuing a remarkably activist, if misguided and foolhardy, agenda, the puppet seems not to know what to do and finds himself consigned to the roles of observer and critic.

[Do you now have reason for impeachment?]

America is getting the point that its puppet doesn’t have a clue. [And we’re a laughing stock to the whole world! Worst than when Clinton was in office.] He doesn’t know how to stop the oil from spilling. He is bereft of ideas about how to create jobs in the aftermath of the recession. He has no idea how to keep the European financial crisis contained. He has no program for repaying the massive debt hole into which he has dug our nation without tax increases he must know will only deepen the pit. Some presidents have failed because of their stubbornness (Johnson and Bush-43). Others because of their character flaws (Clinton and Nixon). Still others because of their insensitivity to domestic problems (Bush-41). But now we have a puppet who is failing because he is incompetent. It is Jimmy Carter all over again. Who would have thought that the puppet, so anxious to lead us and so focused on his specific agenda and ideas, would turn out not to know what he is doing?

[Those speeches where prepared…he had no office of leadership to proof he could actually do what he said he could do. He’s a Hitler and the People bought it. And, now everyone is crying WOLF!]
