Republicans Verses Conservatives

I have a thing with political parties. George Washington warned of parties saying it would split our country. Not even a year later, John Adams (whom I greatly admire) failed Washington and the American people on this one aspect—instead of following in Washington’s footsteps, he ran on party; thus, beginning this tragic fall of the American free election process.

I’m no expert as per say—I’m not a politician. I’m an outsider looking in. I guess you can say I’m an expert as a member of the People of this country. I am a registered Republican. So What?

In my view: the Republicans and the Democrats are one in the same. Take a closer look at the 2008 election if you’re questioning my judgment. Some advice—read Sarah Palin’s books. If you’re an enemy of Palin, then you’ve been sucked up by this Republican-Democrat machine. They both smeared a good woman.

Newsmax’s (Feb. 2012 Issue) article What Romney Must do to Woo Conservatives by David A. Patten (pages 8-9) proves my notion. Patten gives us a list of how Mitt Romney can woo conservatives:

The first: Emphasize his conservative fiscal record in Massachusetts

  • He took a $3 billion budge shortfall and left a $2 billion rainy-day fund.
  • He dropped Massachusetts’ unemployment from 5.6 to 4.6 percent.
  • He attempted to reduce state income taxes.

The second: Talk up his business background—

  • He’s widely credited for rescuing the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
  • He founded Bain Capital which helped rebuild The Sports Authority, Domino’s Pizza and Staples.

The Third: Reach out to conservatives

  • Stop being indifferent, if not hostile, to social conservatives.
  • Reach out to them and show he genuinely cares about their heartfelt cause.

The Forth: Emphasize electability at every turn

  • Patten states—“electability [of a candidate running for the President of the United States] may be just as important to conservatives this cycle as ideological purity is.”
  • Romney argues he has a superior organization and funding machine. Patten states that he should continue to play this card.

Now let’s put this in prospective by comparing Romney to Palin—

  • Sarah Palin, according to her book, fought against corruption in Alaska before she was governor. She went against the top—all the way to the governor’s mansion—and WON.
  • As governor, she achieved getting the Alaskan pipeline finished within what six months; completing a deal that was going on for 50years.
  • She not only got Alaska out of debt but left a huge surplus, plus every Alaskan who lives there two years are more receives $2,000 a year from the pipeline.
  • She handled all those BIG oil men by tearing up contracts and telling them how they’d do things in her state. She put Alaska in charge instead of the other way around like here in Louisiana. We have countless pipelines and we don’t see a dime!
  • She genuinely cares about America and its citizens.
  • She did these things plus more and at the same time was raising children and managing her own household. Instead of having chauffeurs and fancy limousines and countless maids, to help her state, she did everything herself.
  • Alaska is 1/4 the size of the entire lower 48 and she managed while doing all of the above to visit all of her people not just some.

How does Romney get to be better than her? Is it because she is a woman? Does that make her less valuable? I was surprised that liberal women organizations did not rally her. How hypocritical!
During the 2008 campaign, the Republicans did every effort to control this much achieved, true American woman. They went as far as writing her speeches (telling her what to say). Her comment about being a soccer mom and the lip-stick comment, got her heavily reprimanded by her very own Republican team mates. She wore her own jacket at one event and she was reprimanded for that, too.  The Republican party bought all new clothes for her including $70 panty hose which she never wore then demanded that she return them after the election. And you want to talk about wasteful spending! They even reprimanded her for talking directly to the People on her campaign trail.
To put it simple. The Republican party told her how to walk, talk, eat, s…., and breathe. That’s not democratic or a republic, that’s authoritarian to the core.
Then after the campaign the Republican party did everything they could to destroy this true American lady’s reputation, guaranteeing she’d never win an election again.
According to Patten’s article—“the Republicans can thank most for their laser-beam focus on electability is none other than Barrack Obama himself…Contrast [Republicans, today, wanting to oust Obama] this with 2008, when some GOP voters openly mused that Obama might be better than McCain” [a prisoner of war, and a schooled politician having more creditability and on-the-job experience than the puppet!].
Patten states that Romney is going after the conservatives to win the GOP election then he’ll switch to the middle to win the presidential elections. Does this mean he’ll lie, cheat, steal (do what ever he can) to win over the conservatives?
I think the whole Republican selection of a candidate is bogus. This country was founded on conservative values and God was always at the forefront of building this great nation. How absurd to ignore Ron Paul! He is the most qualified of all these men. What he has to say aligns with what Palin stands for and what our founders wanted—America is supposed to be a free country with a small government. That’s their message—plain and simple.
How gullible of the American people to allow these two people to escape their grasp. Even Herman Cain had a true American heart. His statement that he was NOT an African-American but an American was the greatest, most honest, true statement any black man except for King has said.
Patten mentions serial flip-floppers. I see nothing but flip-floppers. Ron Paul seems to be the only exception. Herman Cain and Sarah Palin—without a doubt stuck to their beliefs as well.
History shows us where this country has gone astray. Many warnings were given from those who built this great nation:

  • Don’t let outsiders in (meaning foreigners) was the most important.
  • If the federal government got too big and out of control, the People has the right to override it: taking it by force if necessary.

     My questions still go unanswered:

  • Where are all the true Americans?
  • Where are all those tea party people who rallied and rallied?
  • Were all those speeches and signs held just words?
  • Why does the NRA HAVE to fight for the Second Amendment, which allows Americans to protect themselves?
  • Why does Americans have to fight to keep a federal government health take-over which states that they have the right to dictate weather you die or live?
  • Why has this country not impeached the puppet? After all—
  • he’s bowed to kings,
  • he’s disrespected our allies,
  • he’s disrespected the very country he represents by calling us arrogant and apologizes for us being that way,
  • he’s supported terrorism,
  • he’s lied about who he really is,
  • he’s spent more of our tax dollars than any president we’ve had,
  • he has more czars (people we didn’t elect, people who answer to no one but the president; and we pay for them) than any other president,
  • he’s written a book about his hate for white people and his hate for America before he was elected,
  • he’s placed moslems into our government (people who hate the United States of American and who intend to destroy us),
  • he’s criticized American Veterans and has treated American soldiers with total disrespect,
  • he’s weakened our defense,
  • I’m so there’s more…

He’s so disliked in Southern Louisiana that when he came here (it took him 2 weeks to come) for our tragic oil spill, not one person stood on the side of the road to greet him. NOT ONE!
The American People have failed our founders, have failed their sacrifices for us to be free. We ARE not a democratic nation and far from being a republic. If you think we are than check out the electoral college, make a list of all the laws and regulations that control everything in your life. Go on, review your income tax form—take a look at how much you and your boss has to pay just on you and convert that to percent. It’s over 12%.
Republican and Democrat politicians don’t care about America. They just care about personal advancement. Just look at how much they make a year, look at all their benefits, look at how much vacation time they have, check out their homes, their clothes, their staff, maids, cooks, etc.
How many of you have a limousine or $1,000 suits or a retirement paid by the People. Most of us don’t have any retirement.
Wake Up! America. That’s the sign I like the most after Next time We’ll Come with Guns.
Romney is no better than the puppet. You are sleeping if you don’t see it. My suggestion—get rid of them all and regroup. Further suggestions—

  • shut down the government
  • seal the borders
  • throw out every controlling law
  • sell all these government luxuries
  • void every government agency
  • increase our defense (take pride in those who volunteer to defend us)
  • return the National Guard back to their states
  • return our tax money back its original intention
  • oust the electoral college (return the voting and decisions back to the People—as it was meant to be)
  • deport all individuals who aren’t American citizens
  • stop importing cheap foreign products and return to American Made (Americans take pride in their work and make things that LAST!)
  • oust political parties and return the fight for positions back to the individual
  • return education (schools) back to the communities
  • the most important—return God to the forefront of this nation
  • strengthen the rules of political candidates
  • change the citizenship immediately to—they must be at least a two-generation American with no exceptions
  • presidential candidates must have at least four years of military service
  • the age of the president should be increased to 50
  • presidential candidates must have at least 10 years experience in leadership (the actual running or leading of a major organization—city, town, large corporation, etc.); disregarding all congressional time except for two years
  • limiting congressional terms to two
  • cutting congressional pay by 3/4
  • cutting all government vehicles (they can use their own car like we do) and planes except for Air Force One
  • cut totally, except for the president and vice president, all retirement and health benefits paid by the People, including those already retired (we have to pay for ours—let them pay for theirs)

A reorganization is necessary and it can’t be of anyone’s benefit if it takes years and years to do it. It needs to be done immediately. The American People can handle it. Those that complain and gripe are NOT true Americans and can have the option—either stand behind The United States of America or find another country to call home.
It’s that simple. You, the American People, make it complicated. Your arguments are hypocritical! You want to be free but you can’t handle what it takes to be free.
Mitt Romney is not the answer. The cycle will just continue, and the United States of America will cease to exist and you, the American People, will have been the fool.
These elections are not that important to me. I think we are overlooking the real problem. The U. S. government has gotten too big, and we are just standing by while it continues to grow. We need to return to our beginning. But, I guess, if the People don’t want it, then maybe we should just go ahead and throw in the towel and declare ourselves (as we truly are) a socialist nation and let the government totally tell us what to do. I guess, to most, that is the simplest way to live. After all, anything that is too hard is not worth doing—so if being free is too hard, we might as well give it up right now instead of all this bickering and fighting. It’s getting redundant and quite boring.

Honesty Spoken! Wow!

post from YouTube titled: Rep. Kelly’s Statement During Education and Workforce Committee Markup

[This was posted in June 2011. What Rep. Kelly has to say still makes sense. We all should review this past information before making a sound judgment of voting for our next president.]

Gingrich, the Puppet, and Disney

post found on YouTube titled GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich sharply criticized [the puppet] over his planned town hall at Walt Disney World in Florida. (Jan. 19)

[A funny thing this is. You may look at this video with criticizing eyes towards Gingrich, but I look at as another way the puppet wastes tax-payer dollars. When we had the oil spill down here, he completely shut down the cleanup when he visited as well as had six helicopters to escort him. Isn’t anyone tired of this elected person pretending to be a king?]

“…the [puppet] would courageously hold an invitation only town hall meeting on main street in Disney World at the Magic Kingdom for which they are closing half of the Magic Kingdom for which I apologized to all the people who for months of planning to take their children and go to the Magic Kingdom. But after all, who are they compared to [the puppet]?….”

Texas and the Puppet

post by Holly Bailey, Yahoo! News

[This interview was done back in April 2011, but I think it is still important today especially since we are in election year. It pays for us to remember the past in order to correct the future. Take a long at past post on this blog and please don’t forget what the puppet has done. Don’t let his campaign antics sway you because it looks “good” today.]

Ahead of next year’s presidential election, the White House has launched a concerted effort to leap over national media and reach out to local journalists in hopes of receiving more favorable coverage. But that effort may have backfired a bit yesterday, when [the puppet] was caught on camera testily reprimanding a Texas reporter for apparently not giving him sufficient time to answer questions.

“Let me finish my answers the next time we do an interview, all right?” [the puppet] told Brad Watson, a reporter with Belo TV, which owns several Texas TV stations including Dallas’s WFAA and San Antonio’s KENS. The interview, one of four [the puppet] conducted with local TV reporters Monday, had already been a bit heated by that moment.

“Why do you think you’re so unpopular in Texas?” Watson asked [the puppet], at one point.

[The puppet] replied by acknowledging that Texas had long been a “pretty Republican state,” but he implied that the politics there were changing, adding that he’d only lost by a “few percentage points” in 2008. But that statement, as Watson noted, wasn’t exactly true. [The puppet] actually lost Texas to John McCain by 11 points during the last campaign—as the reporter pointed out.

“If what you are telling me is Texas is a conservative state, you’re absolutely right,” [the puppet] replied, unsmiling.

You can watch the full interview here: http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625/24955923

The interview went down from there, as Watson pressed [the puppet] on a major local issue in Texas—NASA’s decision not to locate one of the retiring Space Shuttle fleet in the state. “The White House has nothing to do with it,” [the puppet] insisted.

When Watson suggested the [puppet] administration had sent the orbiters to states pivotal to his re-election, the president became visibly irritated. “I just said that was wrong,” he said. “I just said that wasn’t true.”

As for his re-election, [the puppet] insisted he plans to campaign in Texas. “I never write off any states,” [the puppet] declared. “I love Texas.”

Are You Afraid?

post from David Zanotti, President & CEO, The American Policy Roundtable

[I think Mr. Zanotti is right. We can’t forget Godis on our side. We can’t forget that by standing together, we can make a difference. And we can’t forget that our founding fathers gave us tools to keep our freedoms. We have to make a stand to keep all that was giving to us. Remember the old saying: Freedom isn’t Free!]

Are you afraid? Do you get scared when you look around and see what is happening in America? I do. Maybe presenting some bullet-proof identity would fit better in today’s media-image driven world. Maybe a person of faith shouldn’t be so honest but I’ll tell you plain— sometimes what I see happening and what I see not happening scares me all the same.

The great news is the Bible is filled with constant admonitions that none of us should be afraid. We can’t live in fear, fretting, or worry. (See Psalm 37, Psalm 73 and Matthew 6). There is a good reason we should not be afraid. We are not alone. God† has not abandoned this world, this country, and this very hour. I know the popular culture has taught us that God† left the planet a long time ago and doesn’t really care that much. That is just not true. Here is what He says in His Word in just a few reminders:

  • “The Lord† works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.” Psalm 103:6
  • “The Lord† has established His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19
  • “My Father is always at His work, to this very day and I too am working.” John 5:7

God† has not left the planet. He is here, He sees, He cares and He has a continued plan and a role for all of us to play. And He cares about the struggle between good and evil right here in daily culture. Yes, He cares about the daily commutes on the freeways and subways. Yes, He sees what happens on Main Street and Wall Street. Yes, He cares about who we elect to public office, and yes, He does see what happens in the NFL. (But let’s not go there right now.)

So let’s get a few things on the table right at the beginning of 2012. First, there is a LOT of baloney going around regarding the Presidential Election. The biggest scam going on in the media to date is the under-reporting on the actual delegate vote counts in the Republican Primary. No one, including FOX is giving you the real score. We are at aproundtable.org. Just check out our latest blogs for the true story.

Next, let’s get this straight: ONE MAN cannot fix America, nor can ONE MAN destroy this nation—unless the majority of us permit that to happen. We have been given the tools of a constitutional republic to keep any ONE MAN from dictating reality for America. So we are going to say it now and until our lips fall off—please America, please thinking people—focus on who gets elected to Congress this year. That is the only way to make certain our worst fears do not become reality. Right thinking leaders in Congress with well-constructed worldviews can make all the difference. And they will if we elect them to office and not get off track.

Next, we have to get our eyes on the truth—not on the personalities and the horse races. The issues facing this nation are huge. Health care alone is a matter of life and death for all of us. This election is the best chance we will ever have to save lives from the inevitable destruction of the plan Congress passed but no one read. This is the issue that matters most. There are others that matter a lot, like the national debt, financial collapse, radical Islamic terrorism, religious liberty and more. But if we lose the opportunity to fix health care—people are going to start dying, and fast.  Scary—but not a good enough reason to be afraid. God† sees, He knows, He cares and He is looking for those who are looking for Him. (2 Chronicles16:9).

So—here’s the plan:

  1. Stay focused first on Him† because He cares more than we do.
  2. Keep our efforts on the critical issues.
  3. Keep our priority on building true leaders to serve in Congress and more.
  4. Use every legal tool at our disposal.
  5. Give every dollar we possibly can toward these objectives.

All of that starts at aproundtable.org. There you’ll find your partners working every single day to get this message out to the nation. Together we are reaching more people than ever before.  This is our first call for financial help of 2012. The sand is falling through the hourglass. We have not one minute to waste. Every dollar you give goes straight into the field and is truly needed right now. Remember, your giving here is fully tax-deductible and you can give unlimited personal, corporate, and foundation checks right here. Every dollar counts. We need your help today. Thanks.

Defy the fear. Do the right thing today. You are not alone.

The Confederacy in Minnesota

post by Madeleine Morgenstern, TheBlaze, 12 Feb 12

[I finally come across a story worth posting. I flew my Confederate Flag until the colors faded completed—currently waiting for a new one. I’m a Veteran of the U. S. Army. My father has his flying high. He’s a Veteran of the U. S. Navy. I’m impressed when I see people express how they really feel about the state of our union by flying this honorable flag. Mr. Hansen is correct about what the Confederate Flag stands for “sovereignty, individual rights and individual liberty.” It does. Read my homepage. The Confederate Flag is an honorable flag—the Southern War Flag. If you didn’t know it, under this flag marched the first Black American Officer Regiment. They fought for the South. This, and other historical points, tell me the Civil War wasn’t fought because of slavery but because the North wanted to maintain their control over us. Why? Because we have the necessities they needed and still need: food, oil, gas, seafood, just to name a few. The stigma that’s been placed on our flag comes from the North. The South wanted “sovereignty, individual rights and individual liberty.”  They knew then that if this country continued to allow the federal government to decide what people could and couldn’t do then we would end up like we are today. The South tried to prevent the state we’re in. SIDE BAR: If you still think the Civil War was about slavery then ask yourself why the White House continued to own slaves as well as Gen. Grant (who refused to give his up) during the war. Also, ask yourself why Southern black Americans still today work the land their ancestors did? Ask yourself why the Oak Alley Plantation owner at the time of the Civil War took his slaves to Texas so the Northern troops wouldn’t kill them? Ask yourself why today’s black Americans hold in so much anger? I would be angry too if the federal government promised me something if I abandoned my Southern homes, (it turned from asking to forcing) then I was left out on the street with nothing. Ask yourself why many Southern plantation owners gave money and their names to their “slaves” because they were forced to “release” them? If I had a slave that I hated because of the color of their skin, I don’t think I would have allowed them to help bring my babies into this world, let alone raise them for me! Just a last minute note: Many farming techniques still used today came directly from a “slave” to help his “owner” prosper! Mr. Hansen, you’ve impressed me the most. A Northern flying our flag. Thank you. Please, keep strong and maintain your Freedom of Speech because soon that Confederate War Flag may rise again, and this time around, she won’t loss!]

A Minnesota city councilman has a Confederate Flag hanging outside his home and says he’s not taking it down, no matter what people say.

“It’s my house,” West St. Paul Councilman Ed Hansen told the Pioneer Press. “What’s the problem?”

Plenty, according to the city’s mayor, John Zanmiller. The flag, visible from a busy avenue and to visitors at a nearby park, also has the word redneck written across it. “I don’t like it,” Zanmiller said. “Do I wish the flag wasn’t there? Yes.”

While the mayor acknowledged he is not aware of any complaints made to the city, he reached out to Hansen on Friday about taking it down. Hansen declined, and Zanmiller acknowledged the decision is ultimately Hansen’s.

Hansen, a first-term councilman elected in 2010, told the Pioneer Press he put the flag outside his house over the summer to no complaints. He said being an elected official should not matter one way or another. “It represents sovereignty, individual rights and individual liberty,” he told the newspaper. “It’s my free speech, and that’s my choice.” He dismissed any racist connotation the flag carries. “I’m not a racist, and I don’t think it’s racist,” he said. “People like to play the race card, though, when they don’t get their way.” [I couldn’t have said it better myself!]

Jay Brunn, a developer who’s building a house next to Hansen’s, claimed the flag caused one prospective buyer to shy away.

When informed of that, Hansen told the Pioneer Press“Good. I don’t want him for a neighbor then. If people choose to be ignorant, that’s their own fault. They should study history. It represents true sovereignty.” [Well said!]

Paid-For Benefits Deemed Entitlements?

post sent via email by Geno Ledet

[Oh, what web we weave! Mr. Ledet is dead-on target with this one. The saddest part of it is that no one is raising enough hell about this. Debate, debate, debate without any action! Corruption at its best.]

I paid—Didn’t You?

The only thing wrong with this calculation is they forgot to figure in the people who died before they collected their social security! Where did that money go? This is another example of what Rick Perry called “treason in high places!”

Remember, not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did, too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that’s close to $220,500. If you calculate the future value of $4,500 per year (your’s & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you’d have $892,919.98.

If you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you’re 95 if you retire at age 65) and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.

The folks in Washington  have pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madhoff ever had.

Entitlement my ass, I paid cash for my social security insurance! Just because they borrowed the money, doesn’t make my benefits some kind of charity or handout! Congressional benefits—free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that’s welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement entitlements!

We’re “broke” and can’t help our own seniors, veterans, orphans, homeless. In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey. And now  Pakistan—home of bin Laden. Literally billions of dollars!

Our retired seniors living on a fixed income receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of billions of dollars and tons of food to foreign countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare entitlements even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave US the same support they give to other countries!

Sad isn’t it?

Defacing American Dollars

A lady in Monte Vista, CO had this dollar bill. This is her story.
You don’t think we’re in a  war?

These are starting to show up around  our country! After dinner she took a $1 dollar bill out of her  purse and displayed it on the table.  Underneath the words “In God  We Trust” someone had stamped the dollar bill in red ink:

NO GOD BUT  ALLAH

We asked her where she had gotten this dollar bill. She said  it was part of her change in Alamosa , CO. We took a picture of her  dollar bill. If anyone tries to give you one of these dollar bills as  change, please refuse it and ask them to give you a dollar bill  that has not been defaced.

God bless our USA!
IN GOD WE TRUST!

Newt Gingrich Defends Sarah Palin

Now here is honesty at the core. Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich tells it straight to an MSNBC report.

Newt Gingrich Defends Sara Palin
